Untameable creatures

Saturday 02 November 2019, 18:00
Coronet Theatre, Studio

Society has always tried to tame women, but not all of them are willing to accept it. Laura Pugno and Olivia Rosenthal tell stories of women attempting to emancipate from social constrictions and the price they might have to pay to break free. Making use of zoological metaphors and creatures, pushing the boundaries of realism, recurring to paradoxical, weird, philosophical and hybrid novels they explore the ubiquitous presence of gender violence, human restlessness, and the attempt at domesticating the desire for freedom.

This event will be in English and French with English translation provided.

Running time: 80 minutes.
